mp will decrease and overflow valve cut down flowage passed. When need to decrease flow rate, one will reduce openness of nozzle so as to increase the outlet pressure of pump. In that case, openness of valve and returned oil increase due to overflow valve work on spring, the outlet flowage of fuel dispenser is lessened. When the pressure of hydraulic system in fuel dispenser is suddenly increased due to some cause, overflow valve overcome spring strength under high pressure, raise openness and returned oil flowage to reduce pump pressure and protect the hydraulic system. Clockwise turn adjusting bolt of overflow valve given the openness of nozzle is unchanged the flux of fuel dispenser will be increased; anticlockwise turn decrease flux. Performance of vane pump Suction capacity Like other pump the good performance of vane pump should has high suction capacity, excellent stability with less vibration, small transitional volume, low noise, nice reliability and maintainable. These traits depend upon rational structure design, right selection of material and manufacturing level fuel dispenser . User’s correct usage and maintenance is very important as well. fuel dispenser Vane pump suction capacity mainly lies in the two aspects: suction distance and avoidance of air pocket. Diagram 2-5 is about pump, explaining pump suction distance. Suction distance refers to fuel dispenser’s capacity to suck oil from a certain vertical and horizontal distance, often meaning vertical distance. Keeping suction distance a definite vacuum pressure in pump fuel dispenser inlet is prerequisite. When the oil level is high or low in tank pump inlet vacuum pressure is often high. Under such high pressure, overflow valve overcome spring strength increase openness and returned oil. Due to the pressure returned oil in other penetrative section is also increased, the filling flux is cut down consequently. The outlet flux of fuel dispenser becomes zero when returned oil reaches a certain volume. Therefore, when the returned oil of overflow valve and other penetrative s

About sponsorship Cars that drive themselves The road to KITT Nov 30th 2006 From The Economist print edition Alamy Even production cars are starting to become more autonomous IN THE cult 1980s television show “Knight Rider the hero s car, KITT, could leap over obstacles using its Turbo Boost function, hold realistic conversations and drive by itself when necessary. Such feats of automotive agility remain the preserve of the small screen, of course, and talking cars have yet to advance beyond giving directions or reminding you to fasten your seatbelt. But production cars that drive themselves are edging closer, as advances in “active safetygrant them increasing autonomy in an attempt to prevent accidents. The most widespread example of active safety so far is intelligent or “adaptivecruise control, in which the car maintains a fixed distance from the car in front, rather than a fixed speed as with a conventional cruise-control system. The dis fuel dispenser tance is monitored using sensors mounted at the front of the car, fuel dispenser and braking or acceleration are applied automatically to ensure that it remains constant, thus reducing the chances of a collision. This feature is available on high-end cars from Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW. More advanced still are active-safety systems that progressively give warning of potential impacts, try to prevent them, and then try to mitigate their eff fuel dispenser ects. Honda s Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMS), for example, uses a forward-looking millimetre-wave radar to scan the road ahead. If the system detects an obstacle that is likely to cause a crash, it warns the driver via an alarm, a flashing light, and then a tactile or “hapticwarning which tightens the driver s seatbelt. As the anticipated time-to-impact decreases, CMS prepares the car for sudden braking by moving the brake pads nearer to the brake disks, and finally,
